The Caledonia Swim and Dive Team had a great week of dropping times!
In the tri meet with Mona Shores and Jenison, they were second to Jenison, but ahead of Mona Shores with some fantastic drops in time. Santiago Gordon stands out with dropping 15 seconds in the 100 breaststroke.Tyler McCaul and Liam Schuurman also dropped nicely in the 50 freestyle to achieve their letter awards.
This Saturday the Caledonia swim and dive team dug deep to win a hard fought meet with TK, and had phenomenal drops in time. Anders Foerch came from behind in the 500 freestyle to tap out the lead TK swimmer for a first place finish and a 14 second drop in time.
First year diver, Caleb Sheldon, dove with great intention to get his best score of the year.
All of this proves that there is much more in each of us, and we have to learn to dig deep and find it… a lesson that we all have to learn to be effective in life.
